They all relate to a formal relationship of shapes that absolutely captivated me in the early 1980’s. It had to do with a larger, more dense, or complex shape above with a lesser, thinner, smaller, or less complex shape or shapes trailing away below.
This gallery includes the drawing in which I realized what this relationship should be called, thus making it a lot easier to title and explain them all to viewers.
