As I mentioned in my last post, it has been very frenetic around here lately. I am in the midst of having the old carriage house that was used as my personal museum completely emptied of 50 years worth of collecting assemblage supplies and all the art works from the walls and floor removed as well. This is all to facilitate the remodeling of the space: new foundation and floor plus a paint job and storage racks for the never-ending stream of amazing paintings being produced by my wife, Linda MacDonald.
When it reopens, I will be able to re-install the triptychs and some of the Ghost Girls/Boys Shadow series as well as miscellaneous favorite objects and images.
Meanwhile I am busy writing and putting together a self-published book featuring the Triptychs of NFMOA and creating a new web site to promote the book and present a lot of my work in easily accessed portfolios.
Here are some old images to peruse:
- Tall Totem
- Skinny Totems
- Nosey Face
- Tightroper
- Foreign Air (collage)
- Kids scribbles as Flaws Announced
- Polaroid Nadart – 1984
WOW Bob, you’re on a roll. And thanks for sharing more drawings. The remodel of the museum building is going to be a timely upgrade; and yes the prolific Linda needs good storage space too. Maybe I can finesse a visit when the triptychs and some of the Ghost Girls/Boys are installed in all their spender. -Fred

You will be very welcome…. but I think we all have quite a long wait until it is latchkey ready.
